*SOUTHERN COMMAND STRENGTHENS INTER-AGENCY COORDINATION THROUGH MILITARY CIVIL FUSION INITIATIVE AT BHOPAL*
As part of Military Civil Fusion initiatives of Indian Army, Headquarters Paschim Madhya Pradesh (PMP) Sub Area of Southern Command conducted an Inter Agency Synergy Workshop at Bhopal to enhance seamless coordination and joint response mechanisms to address emerging security challenges.
The workshop was attended by representatives from 14 Central and State Government agencies, including the Intelligence Bureau (IB), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Cyber Cell, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Madhya Pradesh Police. The interaction reinforced the Whole-of-Nation approach towards strengthening the national security architecture.
Major General Vikas Lal, General Officer Commanding, PMP Sub Area, emphasised the need for deeper synergy, timely information sharing and integrated functioning among all stakeholders to effectively respond to evolving internal security dynamics and ensure national stability.
The workshop reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to fostering robust inter-agency cooperation and advancing Military-Civil Fusion in support of national security objectives.
The initiative reflects the continued focus of Southern Command on building resilient, coordinated and future-ready security frameworks through sustained inter-agency engagement and collaborative preparedness.
